The Application Engineer Position

The Application Engineer works with a variety of customers and control systems, including thermal process controls, product support, and design/build. This hands-on position allows an individual to gain experience and grow their skills and knowledge of industrial control applications and thermal process solutions. The Application Engineer assists in designing, programming, and building thermal control systems, while also being responsible for providing solutions to control and thermal process applications.


Desired Experience, Skills and Abilities for the Application Engineer Position

  • Associate’s degree in electrical engineering or Electronics Technology, or an equivalent of training and work experience
  • 3-5 years of experience working with electrical and electronics controls/PLC exposure
  • Familiarity with the National Electronic Code
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Practical experience with electrical wiring and control panel layout is preferred, but not required
  • Experience in Industrial Thermal Applications (Plastics, Tooling, Chemical Processing, R&D) is preferred, but not required
  • Experience using AutoCAD is a plus!

The position is full-time with a competitive salary structure based on skills and experience.
