The ideal candidate will provide legal guidance on corporate governance, regulatory compliance, contracts, and risk management. This role requires a proactive and business-oriented attorney who can navigate complex legal issues while supporting company objectives.Key Responsibilities : Provide legal advice and strategic guidance on corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters.Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, including vendor agreements, NDAs, partnership agreements, and service agreements.Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws, as well as industry regulations.Advise on corporate governance and assist in managing board-related matters.Handle employment law issues, including policies, contracts, and dispute resolution.Manage intellectual property matters, including trademarks and licensing agreements.Oversee risk management and dispute resolution, including litigation strategy if needed.Collaborate with internal teams, including finance, HR, and compliance, to align legal strategies with business goals.Work with outside counsel as necessary for specialized legal matters.Qualifications & Experience : Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Admitted to practice law in the State of New York.3 years of legal experience, preferably with a combination of law firm and in-house experience.Strong background in corporate law, commercial contracts, regulatory compliance, or employment law (industry-specific expertise preferred).Experience in handling negotiations and advising on complex transactions.Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.How to Apply : If you are a motivated and experienced legal professional looking to transition into an In-House role, we would love to hear from you.
