What are the responsibilities and job description for the Restaurant Manager - Hourly position at HIA Restaurant Partners LLC?
- Coordinates and directs restaurant activities during the shift based on guest traffic flow.
- Monitors sales, employee hours, and guest counts throughout the shift to ensure proper staffing.
- Directs hourly employees to fulfill job duties and priorities.
- Coach employees on guest service skills, service cycle, and other guest focused activities to meet or exceed guest service standards.
- Interacts with guests inquiring about food and service.
- Monitors employee break procedures to be sure breaks are taken as scheduled according to federal, state or local regulations.
- Completes shift walk-throughs, including temperature checklist and takes corrective actions.
- Establish and maintain appropriate security protocols for guest, employees and facility safety.
- Provide regular training and quality performance results to managers and employees.
- Timely completion of all financial obligations and reporting, including payroll, payables and receivables, etc.
- Recognize and celebrate the contributions and achievements of others.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED certificate
- One or more years of experience as an hourly restaurant shift leader/coordinator.
- Excellent organizational and communications skills, both verbally and written.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Ability to multitask and take initiative when appropriate.
Motivated self-starter.
