We are seeking a professional and caring Psychiatric APRN (Pediatric) for children and teenagers to join our team! In this role, you will meet with clients, analyze their mental health status, and develop a course of therapy along with a medication management plan to address their issues. You may work with clients who have substance abuse issues, depression, anxiety, or eating disorders. You should have some experience with a wide variety of patients and conditions.
Responsibilities
- Meet with patients to determine their status
- Provide mental health assessment and treatment to patients with psychiatric symptoms, cognitive deficits, and/or behavioral problems
- Conducts psychosocial assessments of patients and develops treatment recommendations
- Provides any of the following services to patients: advocacy, psycho-education, psychopharmacology, cognitive/behavioral interventions, monitoring of mental status, emotional support, brief psychotherapy, family-based interventions
- Follows a treatment plan, revising and updating as necessary; makes appropriate referrals for additional mental health services; provides crisis intervention as required
- Participates in interdisciplinary team meetings, case conferences, and clinical supervision; attends in-service education programs
- Identify psychological, emotional, and behavioral concerns and provide diagnoses
- Create individualized treatment plans for each client
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic treatment approaches
- Refer clients to other providers when appropriate
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient information and treatment plan
- APRN/PMHNP License
- Must be able to practice independently
- Must not require MD collaboration in the applicant’s respective state
- Valid and Current DEA
- Mental/Behavioral Health experience
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and listening skills
- Must agree to be 1099/Independent Contractor with a competitive percentage split compensation model
