Purpose of the position

The position is responsible for generating customer leads and managing the opportunity pipeline for ProCare maintenance contracts in the Market Area in support of Hiab’s strategic goals.

Main tasks and responsibilities

  • Engage with sales executives throughout the equipment sales process to share ProCare value proposition and total cost of ownership
  • Execute cold/warm calls to potential new customers providing information including but not limited to product features, product benefits, etc.
  • Work with ProCare contract coordinator to provide new ProCare quotes and identify opportunities for sales executives
  • Supporting service partners, Hiab service teams, and dealers to expand ProCare contract opportunity pipeline, quoting, follow up, and conversion of opportunities to achieve Hiab’s contract growth ambition
  • Manage the ProCare opportunity pipeline in Salesforce CRM
  • Proactively engage and manage all customer facing aspects with customer base including but not limited to quoting, expediting, follow up, general outreach, etc.
  • Serve as a backup to the ProCare Contract Coordinator
  • Build relationships and work closely with the Hiab Inc. CSC sales team members to provide a positive experience for the customer
  • Receives incoming customer calls both new and existing to respond to clients’ business needs
  • Use CRM software to document sales activities, review sales history, order process, and more
  • Negotiate terms of sales and deal with significant national/regional accounts
  • Travel required, est. 10%
  • Other duties as assigned

Accountabilities

  • Pursue sales leads; visit existing and new customers; assess customer needs and suggest appropriate products and services; negotiate prices within limits of authority; and conclude sales orders to meet sales targets

What you’ll need to succeed

Education

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • College Degree in Business or Marketing preferred

Working Experience

  • 3 years’ sales experience with Bachelor's degree or 5 years without
  • Transportation industry or heavy equipment experience in Sales/Marketing/Business preferred
