Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental professional to join our team in providing exceptional care to our patients. The ideal candidate will have experience in a dental clinic environment and possess a strong understanding of dental terminology, infection control protocols, and medical documentation practices. This role is essential in ensuring that our patients receive the highest quality of care while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Duties

• Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment, adhering to infection control standards.
• Manage patient records, including medical documentation and coding, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
• Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment plans, procedures, and post-care instructions.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with clinic policies.
• Support pediatric patients by creating a welcoming atmosphere and addressing their unique needs.
• Utilize dental software such as Eaglesoft for patient management and record keeping.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a dental clinic or have hygiene degree as RDH.
• Knowledge of dental terminology and coding is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and compliance.
• Strong understanding of infection control practices within a clinical setting.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and team members.
• Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $100.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 25 per week
