Hiawatha HomeCare has an immediate opportunity for a compassionate nurse to provide 1:1 care for a male client, located in Elko New Market, MN!
Requirements:
- Must have an active RN or LPN license in Minnesota.
- No experience necessary! Will train the right candidate!
Position Summary:
- You would care for a male client in his home.
- PRN hours are available. We are looking specifically for 7a-7p on Tuesdays.
Pay:
- Registered Nurse (RN): $32.00 - $40.25 per hour (DOE)
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN): $25.00 - $31.00 per hour (DOE)
Core Responsibilities:
- Provides home care nursing in accordance with the physician's plan of care.
- Reports significant changes in the client's condition to the family, RN Clinical Manager, & physician.
- Obtains physician orders for changing client care needs.
- Maintains accurate & current plan of care, physician's orders, and medication profile for the client.
- Charts cares thoroughly & accurately during shift.
- Provides advice & support to clients & their families.

When he was one, doctors said he would spend the rest of his life in the ICU. Karen disagreed, and Michael came home on life support. Michael was Hiawatha’s first client, and this experience became the foundation for our continued commitment and dedication to keep families together through home health care.
