Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries and purchases.
- Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Process sales using the POS system.
- Maintain an organized checkout area, ensuring it is clean and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Assist with stocking shelves and maintaining inventory levels to ensure product availability.
- Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
- Handle customer complaints or concerns with professionalism and empathy, striving for resolution.
- Maintain knowledge of store products and promotions to provide informed recommendations to customers.
- Follow all company policies and procedures regarding safety, security, and customer service.
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not required.
- Proficient in basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
- Familiarity with cash registers and POS systems is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with a focus on phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
