Part-Time Take-Out Restaurant Cashier

We're a busy take-out family restaurant seeking a cashier to join our team, please read the entire job description carefully before applying, thank you!

Requirements:

• 18 or older
• Flexible schedule from Tuesdays to Sundays, day and/or night shift
• Start as soon as you apply
• Previous food service customer service/cashiering experience
• Friendly, respectful, and helpful to customers at all times
• Work and remain calm in a busy, noisy, fast-paced, often high-pressure environment
• Honest, efficient, reliable, team worker, multi-tasker

• Please understand that cashier does not receive customer tips and we set our hourly $15 pay with that taken into consideration
• 5-day employment trial period for both parties to decide if the job is the right fit

Duties (Including but not limited to):

• Be familiar with menu and computer system, take in-person and phone orders as well as payments from customers
• Manage online ordering, Uber Eats, and DoorDash apps and orders
• Communicate with kitchen staff when there are orders, especially those with special instructions
• Pack orders, include soups, sauces, utensils, and other items the orders need, as well as stocking up the previously mentioned items when they're running low
• Keep the customer area and packing station clean
