Duties and Responsibilities
The Custodian will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of school facilities, including:
The Custodian will also be responsible for participating in major summer cleaning projects, communicating effectively with staff and students, and following established guidelines and procedures.
The successful candidate will be able to lift 50-75 pounds frequently, stand for extended periods, and work in a fast-paced environment. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and prior experience in custodial work is preferred.
The Custodian will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of school facilities, including:
- Performing routine custodial activities, such as sweeping, mopping, and waxing floors;
- Cleaning classrooms, restrooms, and other facilities;
- Responding to emergency cleanups;
- Maintaining tools and equipment in good working order;
- Reporting safety hazards and performing minor repairs;
