Requirements
- Ability to work well with public, teachers, students, parents, administrators and other district team members with courtesy, tact, good judgment and good customer service skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly, work independently, performing individual projects and routine matters with minimal direction or supervision
- Ability to think clearly in stressful situations; work well under pressure
- Knowledge of district policies and procedures
- Ability to act discreetly in the handling of confidential information
- Be of good character, neat in personal appearance, dependable, reliable, prompt, flexible and have pleasing manners and personality
- Strong computer skills including word processing, database and spreadsheet
- Ability to compose correspondence that reflects correct grammar and spelling
- Ability to compile and maintain files and reports
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant
- HS diploma or equivalent
