Mobile wound care company is seeking an experienced, dynamic and caring Wound Care Provider (N-P or MD) with expertise in Wound Care for direct hire. The company provides Wound Care Nurse Practitioners to Skilled Nursing homes to work with the facilities nursing team to improve quality care and reduce re-hospitalizations.
The ideal candidate will be board-certified Wound Care provider with experience assessing, evaluating, and documenting skin and wound conditions and have an in-depth knowledge of treatment protocols.
The salary for this position is dependent on experience and qualifications. The Wound Care provider will report to the Regional Clinical Director for the company.

Some Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine check-ups and examinations to assess skin and wound conditions
- Diagnose, treat and manage acute and chronic conditions and develop plans of care
- Implementing orders and treatments
- Evaluating the progress of specialized skin and wound conditions
- Evaluate new admissions
- Document status and care plans and monitors changes
Requirements:
- Current AL State RN license
- AL Licensed Wound Care Nurse Practitioner
- At least 2 years’ experience in the care and treatment of wounds
- Experience in Skilled Nursing Homes a plus but not mandatory
- Basic Computer skills and experienced with EMR software
