What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Cutting Associate position at Hickory Chair Llc?
Position Summary
This position is required to provide leadership and instruction so others in the group can complete tasks quickly and effectively.
Position Details
- Must be able to communicate effectively and work with multiple managers
- Able to work in a high paced environment and be self- motivated.
- Must be able to navigate excel and use to collect reports on backlog.
- Able to navigate Key File.
- Able to navigate SAP.
- Check COM fabrics to determine if they need a backing or not.
- Tag fabrics for CFAs submitted from customer service
- Every hour pickup and scan work from each cutters table and deliver to sewing.
- Assists in answering questions regarding orders.
- Assist cutters when questions arise about fabric or ticket issues.
- Assist in scheduling Upholstery orders to the plant.
- Must follow all safety policies and procedures.
- All other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Must have basic knowledge of computer programs and proficient knowledge of Key File, Excel and SAP
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, etc.
