Job Title: General Summer Intern
Reports to: Director of Special Events and Stadium Operations, Hickory Crawdads
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
REQUIREMENTS:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong organizational skills, self-motivation and the ability to take initiative
- Personal transportation
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work outside in varying weather conditions for an extended amount of time
- Enthusiastic attitude and outgoing, creative nature

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in the creation and implementation of theme nights and community nights in conjunction with the Promotions Department
- Assist with concourse games
- Execute in-stadium operations including cleaning, upkeep and general maintenance
- Wash down seating bowl on a regular basis during the season to ensure all areas are kept clean
- Assist with general front office management issues as needed
- Assist with set up/tear down of picnic areas as needed
- Assist in Box Office and become familiar with ticket system
- Attend events such as trade shows, ribbon cuttings, and clinics as part of the Mascot/Promo Team
- Assist with ticket and pocket schedule distribution
- Answer incoming phone calls
-Opportunity to gain cold calling experience
