What are the responsibilities and job description for the Transportation Driver position at Hickory Falls Health & Rehabilitation?
Hickory Falls Health and Rehabilitation is currently seeking a dynamic, compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to act as the Transportation Driver to join our team of dedicated health care professionals. Applicant must have current CNA and CPR certification.
Under the direction and supervision of the Director of Nursing and the Registered Nurse (RN) and/or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), the Transportation Driver's responsibilities include:
- Coordinate with the nursing team and residents/families for outside appointments.
- Publish daily transportation schedule on the halls.
- Transport residents to and from outside appointments safely.
- Coordinating with Admissions Coordinator on pick-up times from the hospital for new admissions.
- Ensure all paperwork is taken and brought back from each appointment.
- Work as a CNA when necessary.
- CNA will be providing or assisting with resident personal care. Taking/recording vital signs.
- Ensure van remains clean and presentable at all times.
