Hickory Hill Leisure Living in Clermont, FL is looking for female caregivers to join their mission! They are a team of woman who provide residential care to adult woman with developmental and intellectual disabilities. Hickory Hill Leisure Living consist of 3 Behavior Focused/Intensive Behavior Residential Habilitation Group Homes.

Responsibilities
- This position is a Mandatory Reporter of any suspected abuse, neglect or exploitation following all APD guidelines and to participate in all APD investigations.
- Responsible for the safety, support, and supervision of all individuals.
- Monitors everyone’s health status and report concern to supervisory staff.
- Competently carries out emergency medical actions as trained.
- Assists in the provision of routine health care and personal care needs.
- Performs duties to maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment.
- Reliably follows emergency procedures as trained.
- Transports individuals using Hickory Hill Leisure Living vehicles only.
- Respect all individuals as people diligently following the Clients’ Bill of Rights.
- Facilitate a quality environment, both enriching and stimulating, specific to the needs of the individual.
- Strives to always maintain positive attitude to ensure individuals are surrounded by a pleasant and comfortable environment.
Qualifications
- A Strong Willingness to Serve Others
- High School Diploma or GED with proof of completion
- Valid Florida Driver’s License with an insurable driving record
- Physical condition allowing for safe, repeated, satisfactory completion of essential functions of position defined in this description.
- Able to pass in first 30 days of employment, background screening which includes FDLE, FBI fingerprint and local law check.
- Core Competency, Zero Tolerance, CPR, First Aid, Behavior Assistant, TACT, AIDS/HIV, Orientation and Medication Certification training must be completed within the first 30 days of employment and kept current with required re-certifications.
- Ability to pass both a pre-employment drug screen and random drug screening.
- Two year confirmed paid work history
- One year paid work experience with persons with developmental disabilities or equivalent.
