Job responsibilities
- Assist Activity Director with any activities, planning, parties, decorations, and other special events as directed
- Encourage volunteers from among the residents, family members, and the community.
- Assist with Gift Shop activities/sales
- Perform other related duties as assigned

- Must be tactful and compassionate in dealing with residents
- Must use discretion in handling confidential information
- Must be able to accept supervision and maintain working relationship with staff
- Must maintain good attendance
- Must organize well and perform assignments promptly and accurately
- Must maintain good driving record
- Must be able to function in an emergency situation
- Must use initiative and take interest in self-development
- Must be able to handle stress and adjust to change
Degree of physical labor:
- Light to moderate. Must be able to bend, sit, stand, reach, push, pull and ambulate

Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience:
- Activity Professional: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Required)
