Licensed Practical Nurse - Hickory House Treatment Center
Department: Nursing
Direct Report To: Director of Nursing
Are you passionate about helping others and making a difference in people's lives? We have an exciting opportunity for a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide nursing care to ensure that the highest degree of quality client care is provided.
Responsibilities:
- Performs intake assessments on all clients.
- Timely and complete medical record documentation
- Uses clinical judgment to manage delivery of patient care safely and effectively.
- Oral and written communication skills to convey patient progress and needs.
- Nursing care plan and implementation
- Ability to be on call for patients and staff.
- Participation in multi-disciplinary treatment team
- Provision of in-service education for staff as requested.
- Participation in Peer Review process
- Ability to work well with the Medical Director and carry out physician orders.
- Adherence to facility policy and procedures, State & Federal law, and Joint Commission regulations and standards
Requirements:
- Valid LPN completed from an accredited school of Nursing.
- At least 2 years prior experience as an LPN or RN preferably with hospital and behavioral health experience
- Certified BLS provider obtained within 1 month prior to hire.
- Ability to maintain strict client confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
- Ability to work as a member of a team.

- Impeccable ethics, integrity, and customer relations skills
- Outstanding interpersonal and communications skills
- Computer literacy and ability to use an EMR.
- Knowledge of “best practices” behavioral medicine treatment delivery and methodologies
- Sound clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Ability to understand the requirements of the clientele.
Compensation: LPN: $29-33/hr, Rn: $34.00-$40.00/hr
