Position Overview
We’re seeking a caring and dependable Dietary Aide to join our team at Hickory Behavioral at Kingman. In this role, you’ll play an essential part in promoting the health and recovery of our clients by preparing and serving nutritious meals in accordance with dietary plans and safety standards. You’ll also contribute to the cleanliness and organization of our dietary department while working closely with the clinical team to support overall client wellness.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook balanced, client-focused meals following facility menus and dietary guidelines.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen equipment, dining areas, and utensils.
Adhere to all safety, sanitation, and infection control standards.
Collaborate with the Dietary Manager and clinical staff to ensure dietary needs are met.
Assist with inventory, food storage, and organization of supplies.
Deliver meals in a timely and respectful manner, ensuring a positive dining experience for clients.
Support the dietary team in maintaining a welcoming, organized, and compliant kitchen environment.
May transport food or supplies between locations as needed.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Basic kitchen knowledge and understanding of food safety regulations required.
Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record and insured transportation.
Strong problem-solving and time-management skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Flexible availability, including the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
