About the Role:
- The Therapist will serve as a direct clinical professional providing individual, group, and family therapy.
- Under the immediate supervision of the Clinical Director, Therapists will treat a selected caseload of clients suffering from behavioral health and addiction related issues. These clinicians must be able to perform biopsychosocial assessments, participate in multi-disciplinary treatment, and discharge planning for clients.

Job Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree and Current Indiana Licensure (LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, PSY.D, LPCC) or License Eligibility
- At least 2 years prior experience in a behavioral healthcare setting, with residential treatment experience preferred.

- Knowledge of “best practices” behavioral medicine treatment delivery and methodologies
- Knowledge of MAT services or MAT certification preferred.
- Sound clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Ability to understand the requirements of the clientele.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participates in performance improvement activities
- Maintains a current license, certification, and registration as applicable
- Contacts assigned client within 24-hours of admission and 1:1 encounters at least weekly
- Completes Biopsychosocial, Admission Note, ASAM Level 3.5 Criteria, SUD Treatment Plan, and assigns Diagnosis within 24-hours of admission
- Completes 1:1 Session Note, SUD Treatment Plan Update, and ASAM Criteria Update every seven days for each assigned client
- Effectively leads groups and completes Group Session Individual Notes in EMR
- Reviews and signs Case Management Progress Note every seven days for each assigned client
- Completes Columbia Suicide Severity Scale, ASAM Discharge/Transfer Criteria, and Discharge Summary-After Care Plan at discharge for each assigned client
- Adheres to HIPAA regulations including procedure for release of client information
- Follows policy and procedure when client requests discharge AMA
- Reports safety hazards to supervisor or Executive Director
- Performs appropriate hand hygiene throughout the shift
- Uses personal protective equipment (PPE) appropriately
- Assessing, Responding and Documenting Suicide Risks
