Maintenance Supervisor – Hickory Treatment Centers at Terre Haute

About the Role:
- The Maintenance Supervisor provides excellent customer service to current residents by making building maintenance repairs and providing the general upkeep of the facility including its grounds, streets, and equipment.
- Under the immediate supervision of the Executive Director, The Maintenance Supervisor must adhere to HIPAA compliance, have knowledge of applicable building codes related to the healthcare field, and have general knowledge of specialized areas including electrical secondary systems, plumbing systems, fire system devices and air systems.

Job Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Basic computer and communication skills required.
- 2 years relevant experience in a similar role required.
- Scheduling flexibility is required to accommodate client admissions, census and needs of the facility.
- Must hold a valid driver's license with acceptable driving record and provide own insured transportation.
- Positive demeanor and clear understanding of professional boundaries with patients
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare reports &/or maintain logs for various purposes & as required by the Facility &/or for regulatory purposes.
- Remove snow/ice on walkways & parking lots to ensure safety of staff, clients, visitors, & vendors unless under contract with outside firm.
- Maintain safety & cleanliness of Facilities grounds.
- Maintain painting of interior walls for routine painting and “touch-up” painting
- Inspect, repair & maintain heating and cooling systems.
- Perform movement of and repairs to furniture throughout the Facility.
- Conduct fire alarm drills in accordance with State & Federal regulations.
- Conduct operational testing of emergency power systems.
