Position Overview
As a Recruiting Talent Specialist, you will be responsible for full-cycle recruitment, workforce planning, and employer branding across Hickory’s nationwide network of treatment centers. This position requires frequent out-of-state travel to conduct in-person interviews, lead new hire orientations, and support local facility hiring efforts.
You will work closely with facility leadership, hiring managers, and HR to ensure we attract, hire, and retain top talent in a highly competitive healthcare market.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead end-to-end recruitment efforts including job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring across multiple locations
• Travel to various out-of-state Hickory facilities to conduct on-site interviews, support hiring events, and facilitate new hire orientation
• Partner with hiring managers and facility HR staff to develop and maintain accurate job descriptions and staffing plans
• Implement and track recruitment strategies aligned with workforce planning and organizational growth goals
• Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified clinical and non-clinical candidates
• Manage candidate experience from application through onboarding, ensuring timely and professional communication
• Utilize the Applicant Tracking System (ADP) to maintain records, post jobs, track applicants, and analyze recruiting metrics
• Collaborate with marketing and leadership on employer branding initiatives to attract top-tier talent
• Stay current on industry trends, compensation benchmarks, and best practices in healthcare recruitment
• Represent Hickory Recovery Network at job fairs, networking events, and community outreach initiatives
Qualifications
• 4 years of experience in recruiting or talent acquisition, preferably in healthcare or behavioral health settings
• Ability and willingness to travel frequently out-of-state (up to 70%)
• Strong understanding of applicant tracking systems (ADP preferred) and recruitment workflows
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Experience in employer branding and onboarding processes strongly preferred
• Ability to build relationships and collaborate with cross-functional teams
• High level of organization, adaptability, and time management
• Professional demeanor, integrity, and discretion when handling sensitive information
Compensation
• $65,000 – $75,000 per year
(Based on experience, qualifications, and travel availability)
