Social Worker – Hickory Behavioral at Cambridge

Direct Report To: Director of Clinical Services
About The Role:
- The Social Worker will provide individual and group trauma-informed therapy to a select caseload of male and female patients suffering from a variety of behavioral health disorders.
- Under the immediate supervision of the Director of Clinical Services, the Social Worker/Therapist will be responsible for completing assessments, care plan management, patient education, and documentation.

Job Qualifications:
- An ability to learn quickly, multi-task, and utilize effective communication skills, including both telephone and in-person.
- Positive demeanor and clear understanding of professional boundaries with patients and demonstrate sound clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
- Ability to follow directives explicitly, adhere to facility policies, provide patient-driven customer service, and exercise time management skills.
- Schedule flexibility, holiday, and weekend rotation are REQUIRED.
- Must hold a valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Master’s Degree and Current Licensure (LCSW, LMSW, LPCC, LISW)
- 2 years prior experience in Behavioral Health setting with acute psychiatric hospital setting preferred. Not required
- Ability to maintain strict client confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
- Impeccable ethics, integrity, and outstanding interpersonal and communications skills
- Completion of CPR and CPI within first 30 days of employment
- Computer proficiency, including Excel, Word, Publisher, and EMR required.
