Position Overview
The Transportation Driver will provide safe, reliable transportation for clients while assisting with general facility maintenance and upkeep. This role is vital in supporting the day-to-day operations of our facility, ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for clients, staff, and visitors.
Under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor, this role requires a dependable individual with a strong focus on customer service, safety, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
Transportation Duties:
- Transport clients to and from the facility for intake, discharge, and appointments.
- Ensure accurate client information is documented upon intake and discharge.
- Maintain a professional and compassionate demeanor when interacting with clients.
- Uphold client confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
- Communicate effectively with the multidisciplinary team, including medical, clinical, and administrative staff.
Maintenance Duties:
- Assist with the upkeep of facility grounds, including snow/ice removal, lawn care, and general landscaping.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as painting, minor repairs, and equipment upkeep.
- Inspect, repair, and maintain heating, cooling, and plumbing systems as directed.
- Support the Maintenance Supervisor in conducting safety inspections and fire alarm drills.
- Maintain organized maintenance logs and records.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Two or more years of relevant experience in driving, maintenance, or a similar role preferred.
- Excellent driving record required.
- Basic computer and communication skills.
- Ability to maintain professional boundaries with clients and staff.
- Must hold a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record and provide insured transportation.
- Part-time schedule, including weekend, holiday, and on-call rotations, is required.
- Positive demeanor with strong time management skills and the ability to follow directives effectively.
Compensation
- $17.00 – $19.00/hour
