Transportation Driver – Hickory Recovery Network

Direct Report To: Executive Director
Job Type: Willing to work overtime and statewide travel REQUIRED
About the Role:
- The Patient Transportation Driver is an integral member of the client care team, responsible for daily transportation of patients as assigned.
- Under the immediate supervision of the Executive Director, the Transportation Driver is responsible for transportation to and from client locations. This may include, but is not limited to discharges, admissions, and various appointments.

Job Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Two or more years of service or sales experience
- Excellent driving record is required
- Positive demeanor and clear understanding of professional boundaries with patients
- Ability to follow directives explicitly, adhere to facility policies, provide patient-driven customer service, and exercise time management skills
- Schedule flexibility, holiday, and weekend rotation is REQUIRED
- Must hold valid driver's license with reliable transportation
Primary Responsibilities:
- Transports patients to and from facility upon intake and discharge
- Verifies client information and completes all demographics in accurate and timely manner.
- Speaks with prospective clients and completes appropriate pre-admission forms
- Maintains confidential files and materials as directed, maintains professional boundaries.
- Works and communicates daily with a multi-disciplinary team including medical, clinical, and financial elements.
- Cultural sensitivity and ethical attention to all clients, callers
- Adheres to training and development standards set forth by Hickory, Joint Commission, and State Regulations
- Upholds familiarity with State and Federal laws and regulations
