About This Role
We are seeking a compassionate and empathetic Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Hickory Ridge of Temperance. As an LPN with our facility, you will have the opportunity to work closely with guests, providing skilled nursing and short-term rehabilitation care in a supportive and gentle environment.
In this role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing nursing care services and health education for our guests. You will also supervise the care provided by Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA)/State-Tested Nursing Assistants (STNA) and other team members who care for our guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing Safe And Accurate Medication-Related Interventions
- Assessing The Health Of Guests And Notifying Physicians Of Changes In Status
- Implementing New Orders Promptly
- Selecting And Instituting Appropriate Nursing Interventions
- Contribution To Guest Assessments And Plan Of Care Development
Qualifications For Success
- 1-3 Years Experience In A Long-Term Care Setting Preferred
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Licensure In The State
- CPR Certification Required
