We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Hickory Ridge of Temperance. As a CNA, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our guests.
About the Role:
You will work under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse, providing care and support to our guests.
Responsibilities:
Taking and recording vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
Measuring and recording height and weight, as well as intake and output.
Caring for the guests' environment, including cleaning and disinfecting surfaces.
Assisting with bathing, grooming, and toileting, ensuring our guests maintain their dignity and comfort.
Assisting with eating and hydration, promoting nutrition and hydration for optimal health.
Observing skin changes and reporting any concerns to the licensed nurse, providing skin care as needed.
Meeting guests' mental health and social service needs, providing emotional support and connecting them with resources.
Qualifications:
High school graduate or equivalent.
Certified Nursing Assistant certification.
