The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will be responsible for the healthcare of both female and male clients suffering from addictions and behavioral health issues.
Under the immediate supervision of the Director of Nursing, the LPN will perform comprehensive physical health assessments on all intakes and formulate a plan of care that includes physician orders, medications, education, and treatments.

Job Qualifications :
Valid LPN completed from an accredited school of Nursing.
At least 2 years prior experience as an LPN or RN preferably with hospital and behavioral health experience
Certified BLS provider obtained within 1 month prior to hire.
Ability to maintain strict client confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
Ability to work as a member of a team.
Professional appearance, aptitude, and attitude
Impeccable ethics, integrity, and customer relations skills
Outstanding interpersonal and communications skills
Computer literacy and ability to use an EMR.
Knowledge of "best practices" behavioral medicine treatment delivery and methodologies
Sound clinical judgment and decision-making skills
Ability to understand the requirements of the clientele.
Key Responsibilities :
Performs intake assessments on all clients.
Timely and complete medical record documentation
Uses clinical judgment to manage delivery of patient care safely and effectively.
Oral and written communication skills to convey patient progress and needs.
Nursing care plan and implementation
Ability to be on call for patients and staff.
Participation in Multi-disciplinary treatment team
Provision of in-service education for staff as requested.
Participation in Peer Review process
Ability to work well with the Medical Director and carry out physician orders.
Adherence to facility policy and procedures, State & Federal law, and Joint Commission regulations and standards
