Warehouse Maintenance Associate

Hicks Lightning Protection is currently looking to fill the need of an Warehouse Maintenance Associate for our Ponder/DFW location. The Warehouse Maintenance Associate will be working closely with our Warehouse team and responsible for the following:

Job description

• Count and maintain all inventory entering and exiting the warehouse
• Updating the computer system used to inventory and ship product
• Keep all pallets balanced and updated.
• Move pallets around warehouse using a forklift.
• Local deliveries in DFW metroplex (as needed).
• Minor building maintenance and cleaning.
• Complete minor repairs or setups to Hicks LP vehicles and equipment.
• Run errands for materials or supplies for the warehouse and/or office.
• Ability to manage own time and complete tasks that are given without supervision.
• Landscaping for Hicks Lightning Protection and surrounding buildings on the property (seasonal).
• Equip all new trucks.
• Taking inventory of Ponder warehouse as well as all southern warehouses (as needed).
• Other duties may be assigned.

Work Experience & OTHER Requirements

• General construction knowledge preferred
• Clean driving record
• Good oral and written communications skills
• Ability to pass a background check and drug & alcohol test
• Ability to work well with others, as well as individually
• Ability to stand up to 10-12 hours
• Ability to individually lift up to 50 lbs.
• High school diploma or GED
• Additional safety and equipment certifications/training a plus
