As a Service Repair Technician will play a crucial role in maintaining the functionality of our mobile ticketing computers for Janam Technologies within IDT.

The ideal candidate will possess strategic thinking, strong technical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

As our Service Repair Technician, you’ll support HID’s success by:

  • Collaborate with the technical support team to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Physically repairing devices, conducting quality tests, performing diagnostic review, packaging, and shipping units to clients on time.
  • Performing frequent software updates to ensure minimal risk of compatibility failures.
  • Provide excellent customer service and serve as a technical resource for customer support.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, tests and updates.

What we will love about your background:

  • Ability to perform in-depth troubleshooting of proprietary software and hardware for Janam Technologies according to established procedures.
  • Must be a self-starter.
  • Strong work ethic – punctuality and team interaction are critical.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, high-volume environment with fine repetitive hand motor activity.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position about 90% of the time.

Your Experience and Education include:

  • GED, high school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 0 to 2 years of experience in a trouble shooting role.
  • 0 to 2 years of customer service experience.
