The Receiving & Incoming Quality Inspector oversees the receipt and initial quality inspection of incoming inventory for the IDT North America Fulfilment Operations. Our 5000 sq. ft. facility is the fulfilment center for 4 US-based Business units, providing inventory receipt and storage, order fulfilment and Return Material management. The individual selected for this role will be part of a small team of shipping, receiving and inventory management specialists.

As our Receiving & Incoming Quality Inspector, you’ll support HID’s success by:
- Receiving, quality checking, labelling and storing all incoming inventory.
- Comparing quantity and parting number of items received with procurement data and other specifications to ensure completeness of order.
- Inspecting purchased parts & materials for conformance to specifications. Examining items for defects in materials, work and damage occurring during transit.
- Approving or rejecting items and recording inspection and disposition information.
- Communicating product or material issues with appropriate stakeholders.
- Acting as back-up for shipping personnel when needed.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education required.
- 1-3 years of related shipping, receiving or IQC experience preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure and dynamic environment.
