Overview
Hidden Harbor Capital Partners, a Boca Raton, FL based private equity firm is seeking to hire a Business Development Intern. The Business Development Intern will support the firm’s investment sourcing efforts and help maintain the relevant databases.
The Business Development Intern will report to the senior members of the Business Development team and interact across most segments of the firm.
Responsibilities
· Help identify and source new deals including platform and add-on acquisitions
· Work with deal source partners including investment banks, brokers and other sources of deals
· Help contact and qualify potential acquisition targets
· Develop, maintain and update programs and capabilities to enhance outbound calling efforts
· Help create targeted outbound solicitation materials
· Execute ad-hoc projects to enhance Hidden Harbor’s deal generation
· Collect key target company information using the firm’s existing CRM system, industry databases, company financials and related market information
· Help create presentations highlighting opportunities for the business development team
Ideal Candidate
· The ideal candidate is in the early stages of their undergraduate education. A preference will be given to finance, business and accounting majors.
· Experience in business development a plus
· Phone and/or sales experience is preferred
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Outstanding organizational skills
· Ability to multi-task
· Ability to build rapport
· Self-starting capabilities
· Capability to work as a member of the broader team and work in the interest of the firm as a whole
· Computer skills: Excel, Power Point, Word
