Hidden Hemlock is a family-owned cannabis cultivation establishment in Westfield, MA. We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a General Manager to assist with and eventually be responsible for all operations. This position is Monday- Friday. Compensation based on experience.
General Manager - (Full Time)
The individual will initially work closely with leadership to coordinate and facilitate day-to-day operations and eventually become responsible for the general operation of the facility.
REQUIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS
- 4 year college degree a must
- 4 years in a General Manager position of a Massachusetts adult-use cultivation facility
- Experience managing a team of individuals.
- Deep understanding of Metrc
- Customer account management
- Engaging and responsible individual with a strong work ethic and communication skills.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Exceptional time management
- Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
- Self-driven
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Must possess valid driver’s license or state ID
- Must pass any and all required background checks
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Managing a team of individuals to successfully operate a cannabis cultivation facility.
- Provide leadership to all levels of organization.
- Hire, train, and maintain a professional staff
- Define and implement policies and performance standards
- Use of Metrc
- Responsible for cultivation cycles (planting, flowering, harvesting)
- Responsible for management of customer orders and fulfillment
- Responsible for management of customer accounts
- Frequent communication with customers
- Management of processing staff
- Inventory management
- Ability to adhere to tasks assigned by managers.
- Maintaining a clean facility and safe environment.
- Comply with all rules, laws, regulations and industry standards set forth by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, the Cannabis Control Commission (CCC), the City of Westfield and the Company
- Must be able to communicate effectively with others
- Any additional tasks assigned by management.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to perform activities for up to 8 hours a day.
- Must pass stringent background test requirements of Massachusetts
- Have reliable transportation and live locally, within 30 minutes of Westfield.
