Job Overview:
The Lead QMHP will oversee and mentor other QMHPs while managing a client caseload. This leadership role offers growth opportunities within the organization, requiring strong clinical skills, leadership, and a deep understanding of mental health treatment.
Scope of Work:
- Supervise and mentor a team of QPPMHs, providing ongoing support, feedback, and professional development opportunities.
- Manage a caseload of minimum 2 clients, providing mental health assessments, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and community resources to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
- Conduct weekly supervision and team meetings to ensure adherence to treatment protocols and organizational policies.
- Oversee and ensure accurate documentation for all clients, including assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes, etc.
- Participate in the development and implementation of treatment plans for complex cases.
- Assist with training new QPPMHs and ensure they are equipped with the necessary skills and resources to succeed in their roles.
- Provide crisis intervention and support when necessary, addressing client needs in high-stress situations.
- Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and organizational regulations and standards.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
- Certification: QMHP- A certification required
- Experience: Years of experience in mental health care
