What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales and Marketing associate position at Hidden Shores Village?
Assist the General Manager to organize and oversee functions related to RV park sales, rentals, and marketing. Position will be responsible for Hidden Shores hosted events, guest relations and optimizing park occupancy.
This position will require demonstration of excellent customer service and communication. Must develop an in-depth knowledge of the site holder lease, rules and regulations and allowable conduct. The ability to organize, document and retain communication between site holders and management.
The goal is to create a position that becomes the friendly face of all site holder phases of ownership, from weekend rentals and community events, through the progression of owning a home site at Hidden Shores.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to bring new customers to Hidden Shores.
- Host site holder events that create interest for new site holders and engage existing site holders.
- Implement SEO strategies to increase web traffic and create online interactions with potential guests; push leasing sales for all vacant RV sites with 100% occupancy goals.
- Must be able to obtain a manufactured home sales license
- Organize and maintain records related to new and used home site sales.
- Organize and maintain records related to regulatory agencies, inspections and license renewals.
- Track renewal dates and requirements for licenses and inspections related to all Hidden Shores operations.
· Payroll functions and employee record keeping
· Maintain training materials for all departments via Bamboo HR system.
- Coordinate staff when responding to emergencies and alarms.
- Review reports to be informed on guest and employee related incidents occurring after hours.
- Assess site holder demand for park improvements and popular recreational trends
- Work as directed by the General Manger and perform interdepartmental tasks related to park oversite with the designation of “Manager on duty” in the absence of the General Manager.
Requirements
· Experience in billing and customer service
· Excellent comprehension of rules and regulations related to RV park operations.
· Experience with tracking sales calls and follow-up with potential customers.
· Working knowledge of MS Office or similar software programs.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Outstanding organizational and time management skills
· Committed and reliable
· Available to work most weekends and ALL holidays
