Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Assistant to provide support and assistance to individuals in need. As a Personal Assistant, you will play a crucial role in helping individuals with various tasks and activities, ensuring their well-being and comfort. This is a paid position that requires strong organizational skills, empathy, and the ability to work with diverse populations.
Duties:
- Assist individuals with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor vital signs
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with meal planning and preparation
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in caregiving or personal assistant role preferred
- Knowledge of first aid procedures and ability to respond in emergency situations
- Familiarity with working with people with dementia - Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect privacy
