What are the responsibilities and job description for the Waterfront position at Hidden Valley Camp?
Hidden Valley property includes lakefront with canoes, kayaks, and windsurfers and a heated pool.
Aquatics Director
RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervision of daily activity and staff at aquatics facilities. Training and performance oversight of life guarding staff, monitoring facilities and reporting maintenance needs, lifeguarding responsibilities, and opportunities to teach swimming and/or other water-based classes.
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience as a lifeguard
Experience teaching swim lessons
Working with children
Experience leading a team
Swimming Instruction Program Staff
RESPONSIBILITIES: Facilitate all aspects of swimming class curriculum, work one-on-one and with groups of children to support their skill development in the water.
QUALIFICATIONS
American Red Cross Lifeguard certification (training available)
Experience teaching or coaching children
Comfortable working in a group setting.
