SUMMARY
Supervises and coordinates the employees of the Food & Beverage departments by performing the following duties. Coordinates banquets in collaboration with Food & Beverage Director and executes banquets as directed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. - Assist F&B Director with Banquet Sales and Execution at the Greenview. Including all catering, community fundraising events, weddings, golf clubs, golf tournaments, HVLA employee functions, town hall and BOD events. Sell, promote, plan, organize and manage banquets for the Greenview Restaurant in collaboration with, and direction from Food & Beverage Director. Always maintain an excellent working knowledge of competitors banquet offering/pricing.
- Cultivate relationships in the local community in order to be a constant salesperson for Greenview banquet sales/business.
- Assist Golf Department, in a Hospitality capacity, for tournaments, junior events, managing beverage cart, or however beneficial.
- Maintain relationships with trade associations (Lake County Wine Association, Lake County Restaurant Association, Chamber of Commerce, Middletown Merchant’s Association, etc.)
- Assist F&B Director with off-site events, including but not limited to, community and school functions, charitable & disaster relief work.
- Assist F&B Manager with FOH Server training, including menu knowledge, service techniques, wine knowledge and customer service skills.
- Responsible for occasional off-site catering events for private clients in HVLA.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Directly supervises all FOH Banquet staff. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; conducting employee meetings as necessary, informing employees of new policies and/or procedures; giving feedback for appraising performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
