What are the responsibilities and job description for the Host/Hostess/To Go position at Hidden Valley Lake Association?

- Greeting Guests: Welcome Guests in person or phone in a friendly and timely manner. Providing a positive first impression
- Escorts Guests to their table or waiting area for To-GO and provide Menu and Special information
- Taking Orders: Take and Coordinate Orders by phone, online and in person
- Packaging TO-GO: May assemble food, drink and condiments in TO-GO containers
- Answering Phone: Responsible for incoming calls
- Managing Reservations: Manage the reservation system and prep tables for service time allotments
- Assists Front of House & Back of House when needed
- Maintains clean and organized tables, chairs, floors in foyer, patios, restaurant & bar areas
- Responsible for processing transactions on Point-of-Sale system
- Responsible for keeping up to date with ABC regulations and adhering to established policies and procedures regarding the handling and service of alcoholic beverages
- Adheres to all opening, closing, stocking and side work checklist and finishes them in a timely manner as to not hinder the service of the guests.
- Maintaining all necessary and/or required certifications and training, including ABC, Serve Safe and any other as required by HVLA.
