Happy and fun team members to work with
Assist service staff in ensuring an enjoyable experience for the members and their guests. Help with drink orders, serve courses and clear tables after guests have completed their meals. Room set-up for future functions/ events.
1. Assists servers in their tasks.
2. Serves water as guests are seated.
3. Assists in carrying food trays to tables.
4. Removes used dishes from table; brings to dish washing area.
5. Removes used linen and replaces with clean linen.
6. Sets tables with silverware, glassware and other items.
7. Cleans dining room areas.
8. Stocks servers’ station with supplies.
9. Collects trash from dining room, grill and other specified places after each serving period.
10. Dusts chairs before and after meals.
11. Knowledge or protocol for location of emergency equipment (fire extinguisher, AED/CPR, etc.) and evacuation.
12. Maintains ServSafe certification.
13. Performs other duties as directed by Management.
14. Adheres to all policies and procedures, memos and oral instructions.
Work Environment
This position operates in a restaurant setting. The noise level can be loud. The employee may be exposed to hazards including, but are not limited to, cuts, slipping, tripping, falls and burns. Frequent hand washing is required.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
While performing duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to smile, talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, carrying, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping and crouching. The position requires lifting of chairs and tables.
Must be able to lift/carry up to 35 lbs.
Attention to detail is a must!
