HiFyve has a client in the Lebanon, MO looking for multiple Control Engineers.
Salary:
Junior Role: $65K-$70K
Senior Role: $80-$100K
Job Description:
In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing control systems for our automated solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with control systems and a passion for problem-solving and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop control systems for automated machinery and processes.
- Program and configure PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and HMIs (Human-Machine Interfaces).
- Troubleshoot and optimize control systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical and electrical engineers, to integrate control systems into overall project designs.
- Perform testing, validation, and commissioning of control systems at customer sites.
- Provide technical support and training to customers and internal teams.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in control technologies and apply them to improve our solutions.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in controls engineering, automation, or a related field.
- Proficiency in programming PLCs, HMIs, and other control devices.
- Strong understanding of electrical schematics and control system design principles.
- Experience with control software such as Rockwell Automation, Siemens, or similar platforms.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex control system issues.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with robotics and motion control systems.
- Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (Ethernet/IP, Modbus, Profibus, etc.).
- Knowledge of safety standards and regulations related to automated systems.
- Understanding of data acquisition and SCADA systems.
