HiFyve is hiring a Lead CNC Swiss Lathe Programmer in the Manufacturing industry in Kansas City, MO!
Salary : $35-$50 / hr
Shift : 8 : 00 AM 5 : 00 PM, Monday to Friday
Location : Kansas City, MO
Job Duties and Responsibilities :
- Develop CNC Swiss lathe programs using MasterCam for complex, multi-axis machines.
- Program, set up, and operate Swiss-style CNC lathes (e.g., Citizen, Star, Tsugami) with precision and efficiency.
- Provide guidance and support to CNC operators to ensure optimal production and adherence to tight deadlines.
- Perform first article inspections and ensure consistent quality throughout production runs.
- Utilize precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.) to verify part specifications and tolerances.
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and job orders to determine machining operations, tools, speeds, and feeds.
- Conduct trial runs and modify programs to improve machine performance and part accuracy.
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on Swiss machines as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with company standards.
- Assist in training new employees on Swiss CNC machine operation and programming techniques.
