HiFyve is hiring an Operations Manager in the chemical manufacturing industry in Ponca City, OK!

Salary : $100K- $125K Annually

Shift : Day shift

Location : Ponca City, OK (Relocation Assistance Available)

Job Duties and Responsibilities :

Provide Effective Oversite for Maintenance Department and Maintenance Leadership
Provide Effective Oversite for Engineering and Reliability Department and Department Leadership
Ensure all components are identified and commissioned / tested in a safe and timely manner
Provide technical guidance related to the planning for pre-commissioning and commissioning / testing from installation through project completion in order to meet established deadlines.
Serve as a technical expert to the purchasing and implementation team as projects are being developed, designed and delivered utilizing knowledge of Electronic Service Tools and diagnostics for products. Identify installation issues during commissioning / testing to ensure that equipment is placed in service without risk.
Ensure the facility is operated in a safe manner and ensure that a safe work environment is provided and maintained to minimize the risk of accidents and injuries.
Oversee all environmental reporting and testing activities and ensure that required environmental programs are properly implemented and that the facility maintains full compliance with all permits.
Experience in Operations and Maintenance of a Combined Cycle or Cogeneration Power Plant
Communicate effectively with the site staff, management, vendors, and outside agencies. Provide a weekly update to Project Manager covering significant issues and events at the project.

Education Requirements :

Four (4) year degree in a technical field or an equivalent combination of education and experience;

Five (5) years of Supervisory experience

Ability to obtain Oklahoma Boiler Operators License

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :

8 Years of Leadership experience overseeing Maintenance and Engineering Plant Operations

Budget and Financial Control of Capital Expenditures at the Plant Level

Recruiting, Training, and Hiring IC Level Plant Employees in a Maintenance and Engineering Scope

Demonstrated Track Record of Exceeding Plant Productivity and Budget Metrics

Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
