Higgins, Hopkins, McLain & Roswell, LLC has a full-time position available for attorneys with 2 years of civil litigation experience. Our firm specializes in construction litigation, but we are also looking for someone with general litigation experience to handle construction site accidents, premises liability, and/or general liability cases. This is an opportunity to gain significant litigation experience and learn from experienced lawyers in a congenial team-oriented environment.
Compensation - $110,000 annually, depending on experience.

Responsibilities:
- Litigating construction defect and/or general liability cases with mentorship and training as needed
- Direct communication with clients and their insurers
- Active involvement in case handling strategy
- Draft motions, attend court proceedings, attend settlement conferences, take depositions, and try cases, commensurate with your experience
Qualifications:
- Must possess a Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school and hold a valid license to practice law in Colorado
- Should have a minimum of 2 years of experience working in a civil litigation law firm
- While experience in construction defect law is preferred, it is not mandatory
- Proficiency in online research software
- Must be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, decision-making, interpersonal, and public speaking skills are a must
Compensation
$110,000 yearly DOE
