What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Receptionist position at High Brow Boutique?
Main Purpose of Job:
As the first person the client sees when entering the Spa, the Front Desk staff is imperative to the success of High Brow Boutique. These team members are responsible for managing the clients’ experience before, during, and after their service and should be committed to providing our clients with the best experience possible, ensuring that all their needs are met.
For this position we are seeking someone willing to commit to the Front Desk role and team.

Responsibilities Include:
Much of the Front Desk position revolves around client interactions and customer service, as well as additional tasks as assigned. These duties are integral to the smooth running of spa operations, both in the lobby as well as behind the scenes. Responsibilities include:
Implementing Five Star Client Experience
· Warmly greeting clients and checking them in on our booking system
· Help ensure esthetician are set up for success by ensuring client consent forms are completed and any booking concerns are addressed
· Checkout the client after their service, including working with their esthetician to ensure product sales are encouraged and the client is rebooked correctly before they leave
· Communicate to the client current spa promotions and track interactions as requested
Ensuring Client Satisfaction
· Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor at all times
· Be prepared to answer client questions and educate them on retail products as necessary
· Keep client records and notes relevant and up to date, ensuring that potential issues are handled as they arise
Handle Client Payments
· Process credit, cash, check, and gift card transactions
· Maintain the cash drawer and ensure payments are made correctly
· Reconcile payments at the end of the day including settling the credit card transactions and making daily cash deposits
· Communicate end of day numbers to management
Follow Front Desk Expectations
· Maintain effective communication with other team members through assigned methods
· Support and adhere to all company policies and procedures
· Lend a hand in training new staff in High Brow routines and expectations
· Remain flexible and adaptable to changes in polices and procedures
· Participate in regular staff meetings and outings
· Be willing to take on additional projects and tasks as requested
· Perform all opening, daily, and closing duties as they are assigned, including;
- Opening and setting up treatment rooms for that day’s services
- Keeping the lobby clean and presentable throughout the day
- Restocking and straightening retail items
- Managing drink services as needed
- Cleaning and closing down rooms at the end of the day
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12 – 20 per week
