We have provided precast concrete structures and enclosure systems for a wide variety of projects including educational, government, multi-unit residential, retail, sports complexes/stadiums, and parking garages.
We are actively searching for an Expeditor to join our 1st shift team starting at 6:00AM at High Concrete in Denver, PA.
The Expeditor will empty the dumpster, pull hardware and deliver forms and pieces, read and analyze blueprints and price lists. Set-up Production responsibilities will also be apart of this role.
Starting at $20/hour but will increase based on experience.
General Duties:
- Gather, organize, deliver all materials for daily pouring
- Maintain an organized work area and support 6S in other departments
- Ability to problem solve and take immediate action on safety / quality / productivity issues
- Interacts with all levels of the Organization to achieve company goals
- Meets production metrics related to safety, quality, cost, and material
- Utilize blueprints to determine what materials are needed
- Work in and outdoors to gather materials needed
- Production Set-Up responsibilities
The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Concrete and/or construction experience, preferred
- Good communication / follow up skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to independently manage multiple projects / tasks on a daily basis
- Ability to operate computer / electronic systems
- Must have a valid driver license / clean driving record, required
- Ability to obtain a Forklift certification, required
- Ability to interpret blueprints
- Ability to work in outdoor elements
