What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Superintendent position at High Construction Company LLC?
Qualifications:
- Must be able to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
- Must have the ability to perform and be proficient in geometrical and mathematical calculations.
- Must have knowledge of basic computer systems and software.
- Must be able to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Must be able to climb, work at various heights and lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Must be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Essential Job Functions:
- Engage in construction planning, scheduling, material procurement, quality control, and job site safety.
- Prepare daily reports as related to crews, progress and issues.
- Assist in the preparation of final records for the project, including as-builts.
- Work with foreman to ensure structures are built in conformance with the contract requirements.
- Coordinate and monitor the work of subcontractors.
- Represent High Construction in a business-like and professional manner.
- Assist in carrying out a variety of basic field duties at the job site related to general construction.
