Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Person to join our team for 2025. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities by performing a variety of maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance and demonstrate proficiency in various technical skills, including the use of tools and equipment necessary for repairs and improvements.
Duties
- Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on equipment, systems, and structures as required.
- Utilize several tools.
- Oversee several cabins and work projects.
- Supervise maintenance staff when necessary, providing guidance and leadership.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory of supplies.
- Collaborate with team members to prioritize tasks and ensure timely completion of projects.
Requirements
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field
- Experience in several aspects of repairs, simple plumbing, building, construction, lawncare, pool and hot tub experience.
- Strong leadership skills, and work and thin ahead on projects.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
