Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and driven Account Executive with a strong background in commercial audio/video or low-voltage systems sales to join our team. This role involves building new business relationships, cold outreach, crafting proposals, estimating project requirements, designing customized A/V systems, and building strong client relationships. You’ll be responsible for visiting client sites to assess needs, creating detailed bids, and following up with prospects to close sales. With a base salary and uncapped commission, this role offers exciting earning potential and opportunities for professional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and submit accurate, compelling bids and proposals tailored to client requirements.
- Design A/V and low-voltage systems, estimating labor and materials based on client specifications.
- Conduct site visits to assess client needs, evaluate project feasibility, and establish strong customer relationships.
- Identify and prospect new clients while nurturing relationships with existing clients to drive ongoing business.
- Coordinate with the project management team to ensure smooth handoffs for awarded projects.
- Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to provide clients with state-of-the-art solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of client communications, proposals, and sales activities within CRM software.
- Collaborate with internal team members to refine service offerings and provide feedback on client needs.
Required Qualifications:
- 5 years of sales experience, with at least 2 years in commercial A/V or low-voltage systems.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of A/V integration, Low Voltage, and construction projects, with the ability to design and estimate project scopes.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, project specifications, and understand system requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in customer-facing roles and relationship-building.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable prospecting and networking to generate new business.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with solution-based sales in commercial A/V, Security, telecommunications, or related industries.
- Familiarity with technical documentation, signal flow, and construction site requirements.
