Responsibilities:
- Ensure accurate cost allocations and budget tracking for construction and development projects.
- Process and reconcile fixed asset transactions, including additions, transfers, and retirements.
- Collaborate with construction and A/P teams to manage purchase orders, invoices, and financial records.
- Perform month-end close duties, including journal entries and depreciation schedules.
- Support compliance efforts, including internal controls and preparation of financial reports.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent experience is required.
- 2-3 years of accounting experience, including at least 1 year focused on fixed assets or project costing.
- Familiarity with construction or development industries is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software like QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar systems.
